This is an illustration I submitted to the 2010 Comporium Terrific Tales Illustration Contest. I created this piece by using oil pastels for the background and cutting out shapes from a piece of paper I painted various colors on. I dislike the fact that the top left corner has open space and was not effectively used. Otherwise, I like this piece because of the ambiguity left by having the faces of the young girl on the left and two women on the right be blank.Thursday, January 28, 2010

I really like your picture Reneé I like the colors that you used on your grass and you are right you could have added something on the top left corner like some clouds or the sun but other than that i really like it specially cause of the big eyes of the animal
